Originally a 17th century farmhouse, which has been converted into an 8-bedroomed country inn situated near the historical city of York. The warmth and charm of the inn emits throughout the bedrooms and bar areas decorated in original Jacobean style. In the winter relax by the open fire where the atmosphere is friendly and informal or enjoy a meal from our extensive menu. In the summertime one can eat outside enjoying a BBQ on our patio. Our reputation for excellent freshly cooked food has earned us numerous write-ups and commendations.
